::Life in the Rynek

Wroclaw (pronounced vrought-suave –  I know, right!?) in the summer is just beautiful. The sun is out until 10pm and the Rynek (or main square) is lined with outdoor patios flowing with Polish beer – my favorite….

There always seems to be something to do and something new to see. It really is one of the more beautiful cities I have seen. It is hard to believe that this city was devastated by WWII and has been rebuilt to exact specifications before the war. We were lucky that our apartment wasn’t ready yet, so we were able to stay right in the square for the first week and learn all of the best restaurants and watering holes 😉
Notice all the patios 🙂
An aerial view of the square – more to come on this later!
