There is a vineyard near Wroclaw, Poland? Who knew?!
This past weekend, Wroclaw had perfect
weather and what better place to spend the afternoon outside than at Adoria Winery
! The winery is an easy 30 minute drive from the city center and I would highly recommend this place for a Wroclaw day trip (not to mention, the wine isn’t too bad either)
Adoria sells their wines by the bottle along with select wines available by the glass. My recommendation is to bring your own lunch (maybe a cheese platter?), buy a glass of wine and just sit outside admiring the vines while relaxing in the peaceful countryside. There is even a grill on the premises and, if you’re lucky, Mike (the owner) will let you barbecue.
Here is a look at this quaint vineyard located in the Polish countryside. The only downside is the netting covers the vines due to bird problems. But if that’s the ‘downside’ it just goes to show you how great this place really is.
Living on a vineyard wouldn’t be too bad, huh?
…and this driveway. I just love it!
My favorite part of this vineyard in Poland, however, may just be the doors…well, besides the wine. S.T.U.N.N.I.N.G.
And, of course, the views are equally as spectacular as the doors.
The interior – the barrels, wine boxes and corks – made me feel so nostalgic.
Anyways, if you’re looking for something to do in the Wroclaw area, don’t forget about Adoria Vineyards. It’s just Ador-able. (Get it? Adoria is adorable? I just crack myself up sometimes.)
